LiveOnAir - User Guide

Board Overview:

Welcome to your evaluation kit for LiveOnAir.

Please check you’ve received both boards, and that you can identify all the relevant LEDs as per below.

Supply power to the boards via USB-C or 3.7V nominal 1-cell LiPo battery via the battery connecter. If both USB-C and battery are connected, the battery will automatically be charged.
Turn the boards on by pressing the Power button for 2 seconds.
Configure one board to Transmit mode by pressing the Up button, and one board to Receive mode by pressing the Down button.
Connect an input device to the Audio In 3.5mm jack on the Transmitter, and an output device to the Audio Out 3.5mm jack on the Receiver.
Set the input mode on the Transmitter according to the type of input device. The Transmitter will default to Line mode.
Hold both the Up and Down buttons concurrently on both boards to pair the Transmitter and Receiver. The boards will take around a second to pair.
Once paired, begin audio streaming through the input device. The audio will be heard through the output device.
Power off gracefully by holding the power button for 2 seconds to save the connection to the paired board and configured settings. On the next boot, the boards will revert to Line mode.

[1] Powering the board via USB-C can be noisy due to analog circuitry. It is recommended to power via battery for the best performance.
